Carry your multi-tool on your belt, locked into a Kydex sheath.  How cool that this Leatherman includes a Phillips head screwdriver -- just what you need to change the Tek-Lok from vertical to horizontal carry!  Your tool can be carried upright (as shown), upside down (without falling out) or horizontal. $40 as shown in Black Kydex. The pouch at left covers the attached sheath and solves a problem for an officer in Florida during the summer when he wears shorts and a light shirt while off duty. Bruce has crafted similar set-ups for military personnel whose vests lacked room to carry all their gear and for hikers who wanted a way to wear a knife without alarming fellow bird watchers. Pricing depends upon size and type of sheath for knife and/or tool. This is a spacer typed in white to keep photographs and type in place. Hopefully it works because ... frankly, I have a lot of other work to do. This idea for a sheath with a detachable firestarter came from a client. The firestarter is very securely held to the sheath with 2 screws, but can be taken off using a Phillips head screwdriver. After removing it, you can just drop the small holder and firestarter in your pocket, along with the screws and continue your hike.
